DESIGN QUESTION – How can the visual identity of an organization be influenced by its users?
Through collaborating on a project, which served as a main case study, a problem of visual communication has been detected. Despite the fact that the case studies, Nicoles’ MA discusses, are highly collaborative and user centered, their visual representation does not incorporate these characteristics. Concepts for a flexible and user influenced identity for an abandoned Fish Factory in east Iceland as well as the exhibition catalogue for the Design with a view event have been established through primary and secondary research.
