Ore 10:30 STRUTTURE NARRATIVE – Intervento a cura di Andrea Lioy
Andrea Lioy è l’attuale direttore del Master in Communication Design al Central Saint Martins College of Arts & Design, parte della University of the Arts London. Ha studiato Filosofia all’Università di Torino e ha poi continuato i suoi studi con un Master in Communication Design al Central Saint Martins e uno in Japanese Cultural Studies al Birkbeck College, University of London. Ora è impegnato con un dottorato di ricerca sulla Scrittura Creativa. Andrea ha scritto diversi racconti, testi per opere d’arte e sceneggiature di film; ultimo di questi, in corso di realizzazione, è una sceneggiatura sul lavoro di Kuki Shūzō, un filosofo Giapponese della prima metà del ’900. Ha insegnato precedentemente al London College of Fashion e alla University of Westminster e dal 2008 ha una fellowship alla Higher Education Academy, il centro di riferimento britannico per quanto riguarda l’educazione e la ricerca a livello universitario.

Ore 11:00 WAYFINDING – Intervento a cura di Luca Rosati
Luca Rosati lavora da più di dieci anni come architetto dell’informazione . Con questo ruolo ha curato progetti web per grandi aziende e pubblica amministrazione, dapprima nel Franco Bernabè Group poi come libero professionista. Dal 2003 è professore di human-computer interaction e architettura dell’informazione all’Università per Stranieri di Perugia.
Al tema dell’organizzazione dell’informazione in ambienti e spazi digitali ha dedicato diversi articoli e libri: fra questi, Architettura dell’informazione (Apogeo 2007), Pervasive Information Architecture: Designing Cross-channel User Expereinces (Morgan Kaufmann 2011, con Andrea Resmini).

Luciano Perondi (1976), progettista di caratteri tipografici e grafico, opera nel campo della progettazione di aspetti legati alla scrittura (tipografica e non) e all’information design.
Dal 2007 è docente di Storia del libro presso l’Isia di Urbino.

Guido Tamino è un designer di 27 anni che vive, lavora, ricerca, insegna e cura blog tra Milano, Pesaro – la sua città natale – e internet. Oltre alla sua attività principale di graphic designer, è interessato a come il nuovo ruolo della tecnologia stia cambiando la pratica progettuale ed artistica. Quando non si dedica alla sperimentazione sui media interattivi e all’uso creativo della tecnologia, Guido progetta, pubblica e, qualche volta, scrive, riviste cartacee e digitali indipendenti.

Beniamino Saibene Socio fondatore di Esterni – esterni.org, si laurea nel 2000 in Filosofia e Lettere Moderne in campo estetico filosofico con una tesi sulle immagini pubblicitarie negli spazi pubblici e le loro conseguenze nell’immaginario comune.Nel 1995 insieme a un gruppo di amici decide di provare a cambiare le abitudini dei milanesi, sempre più chiusi nelle loro case e nelle loro macchine. Individuano negli spazi pubblici il cuore di una società ideale e decidono di fondare esterni. Negli anni il gruppo ha allargato i suoi confini e i suoi interessi ed è diventato un’impresa culturale portata avanti da decine di persone che oggi si dedica all’analisi del contemporaneo e alla formulazione di soluzioni creative che favoriscano la partecipazione allargata, la coesione sociale e il pensiero libero. È direttore Milano Film Festival dal 1995 fino al 2010, socio fondatore della Cascina Cuccagna e socio fondatore Comitato Cascine Expo 2015.

10:30 am STRUCTURE NARRATIVE - Intervention by Andrea Lioy
Andrea Lioy read Theatre Studies and Philosophy (1992) at Università di Torino, Italy; gained an MA in Communication Design (2000) at CSM; an MA in Japanese Cultural Studies (2007) from Birkbeck College, University of London, and is currently studying for a PhD in Creative Writing. He has written a number of short stories; texts for art projects e.g. Axel Vogelsang’s Lost Cosmonaut(2004); and film scripts including Una Notte Come Questa for Alessandro Benna (2004). The film The Last Day (dedicated to Fernando Pessoa) (2009), which he also directed, is the first in a series dedicated to modernist writers. He was a visiting lecturer at LCF and at CSM MA Communication Design before becoming a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) in 2008 and Course Leader of the MA Communication Design at CSM in 2012.

Beniamino Saibene - Co-founder of Esterni (Outdoors) - esterni.org, graduated in 2000 in Philosophy and Modern Literature in the field of aesthetic philosophy with a thesis on advertising images in public spaces and their consequences in the common imaginary. Saibene and a group of friends formed Esterni in 1995. Esterni is a cultural enterprise that designs public spaces and services for small and large communities, promotes and produces events of aggregation, develops collective communication campaigns. He has been the director of Milano Film Festival from 1995 until 2010, founding member of the Cascina Cuccagna and of the Cascine Expo 2015 Committee.

Luca Rosati has worked for over ten years as an information architect. He has edited web projects for large companies and public administration, first in Franco Bernabe Group and then as a freelancer. He has been a professor of human-computer interaction and information architecture at the University for Foreigners of Perugia since 2003.

Ore 12:00 TYPOGRAPHY - Intervention by Luciano Perondi
Luciano Perondi (1976), has been involved in type, graphic and information design since 1998. In 2003 he created Molotro, a studio whose aim is the design of custom and commercial typefaces and also graphic and information design. Molotro’s projects often include a part of scientific research. He is interested in any aspect of the writing systems: both in the history of writing and its developments beyond alphabet.
Luciano Perondi has been a member of AIAP since 1998 and a member of ATypI since 2004.
Since 2007 he is professor of the history of the book at the ISIA of Urbino.

Guido Tamino is a 27 years old designer living, working, researching and blogging between Milan, his hometown Pesaro and the internet. Besides his main activity of graphic design, he is interested in how the new role of technology is changing the design and artistic practice. When not experimenting with interactive media and creative use of technology, he works on publishing, designing and occasionally writing indipendent editorial projects.
